R,S-Albuterol USP (also known as Salbutamol) is a racemic, pharmaceutical-grade β2-adrenergic receptor agonist used in the treatment of bronchospasm associated with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other reversible obstructive airway conditions. As the USP-recognized form of Albuterol (Salbutamol), this API contains both the active (R)-enantiomer and the less active (S)-enantiomer in a 1:1 ratio. R,S-Albuterol
